The year 2026 marks a unique triple anniversary: the 120th anniversary of Victor Vasarely’s birth, the 50th anniversary of the Fondation Vasarely in Aix-en-Provence, and the 50th anniversary of the Vasarely Museum in Pécs. In this celebratory season, Pierre Vasarely returns to his grandfather’s hometown to honour not only the artistic legacy of the father of Op Art, but also the enduring human connections between Pécs and Aix-en-Provence.
