What makes an image made through a reproductive printmaking process original?
Let’s grab a magnifying glass and examine the serigraphs/screen prints on display at the JPM Vasarely Museum in Pécs, with a guided tour along the way.
Following the guided tour, a professional demonstration awaits at the Drukker Community Printing Workshop, where we’ll get to know the process of making a screen print step by step.
During the workshop, we’ll work from pre-prepared Vasarely motifs, and at the end each participant will get to pull their own print onto a canvas tote bag. The session is easy to follow for beginners too — no previous screen-printing experience is needed.
